| Bio: | I am not a stay-at-home mom. Shoot, I'm not even a mom, unless you count trying to keep the cats (who believe they rule the house anyway) in line. Not even really sure how well I do at that. But I am married, and I do have three nieces and four nephews. I'm the oldest of three kids. (Married the baby of four.) Mind you, the seven nieces and nephews I listed are just the ones I got by marriage. I've adopted a bunch of others, all of them kids of my friends. (Suffice to say, not all of them get gifts at Christmas. Rich I ain't.) I figure that's the way to go; borrow the kids and give 'em back when they make you so frazzled you can't see straight. Boy, I do love being an aunt. Most of my time is divided between time with family, time with friends, work, church and just vegging out in front of the tv. I love CSI in all of its forms, find forensics to be fascinating (even though I know I could never be a medical examiner), and have very little use for sitcoms that have poor dialogue writing. Not much tops the writing in M*A*S*H in my book. People who did not major in English and don't read like fiends do not have this kind of dialogue obsession that I have. Ah, well, it's part of my charm. |
